IRB Approved Research
R3 Stem Cell’s Centers of Excellence offer regenerative medicine treatment under an IRB Approved treatment protocol. IRB stands for Institutional Review Board, and the purpose is to establish patient safety for a treatment and standards for how research is performed.
The stem cell and PRP procedures are not randomized, meaning that each patient receives the regenerative therapy and not a control. The protocol involves regular follow up via email for a minimum of a year to look at pain relief and functional improvements.
By having the IRB protocol in place, patients can rest easy knowing the therapies being offered are safe, well known and the providers are experts in their usage!
